Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources When i try to logout or shutdown my computer with buttons from KMenu (Leave Section) then kde is crashing and i see login screen (like when u use alt + ctrl + backspace). My graphic card: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) I use kde4.2 rc1 on FujitsuSiemens EsprimoMobile v5505. And my question is. Can i save session in some other way? It's simply not comfortable when i can't read my last session as it's not saved. Thanks.
What KDE version (or SVN revision) are you using? This should be fixed in the latest revision and for 4.2final. Thanks :)
I've kde4.2 rc1 from kubuntu 8.10 repositores.
If you change your Plasma Theme ( right-click on Desktop / Appearance Settings / Plasma Theme), to a non-Oxygen them, restart your PC, start KDE again, and try to logout.. does the Logout dialog appear now or you go back to the Login Manager again? Thanks
