Description krun 2009-01-21 12:39:19 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When i try to logout or shutdown my computer with buttons from KMenu (Leave Section) then kde is crashing and i see login screen (like when u use alt + ctrl + backspace).

My graphic card:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

I use kde4.2 rc1 on FujitsuSiemens EsprimoMobile v5505.

And my question is. Can i save session in some other way? It's simply not comfortable when i can't read my last session as it's not saved.

Thanks.

What KDE version (or SVN revision) are you using? This should be fixed in the latest revision and for 4.2final.
Thanks :)

If you change your Plasma Theme ( right-click on Desktop / Appearance Settings / Plasma Theme), to a non-Oxygen them, restart your PC, start KDE again, and try to logout.. does the Logout dialog appear now or you go back to the Login Manager again?
Thanks

It's crashing with all themes.

Is it still crashing with 4.2.0 or an updated version ?
