(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: 2.1 beta 1 Severity: normal Installed from: source Say I am in /some/where and I chose icon view. Now I go to /somewhere/else and change to detailed list view. When I push the Back-button I am in /some/where in ICON VIEW. This should not be IMHO when I did not choose to save properties in directory. (submitted via bugs.kde.org)

"Back" goes back in HISTORY. If you were in icon view you will be back to icon view when going back. If you don't want to go back to the icon view mode navigate with the new mode i.e. go up and then down into the dir you want to go to. --=20 David FAURE david@mandrakesoft.com faure@kde.org http://www.mandrakesoft.com/~david/ http://www.konqueror.org/ KDE Making The Future of Computing Available Today
Would like to reopen this bug. To reproduce: - try ordering a directory of html files by size using detailed view - view one of the html files using konqueror - try clicking `back` or `up`
