I installed kde 4.2 rc1 and kmail tabs are very useful for me, thanks a lot.

It will be better if I will be able to assign shortcuts to activate certain tab like in konqueror. I assigned ALT 1-9 to tabs for konqueror to match pidgin, iceweasel keys.
