Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources I want to suggest to use <ALT><SPACE> as key shortcut for starting Krunner. I know this may be not very popular, because <ALT><F2> is used for a long time to start this. But Krunner has replaced functionality of Katapult from KDE3.5 as an application launcher. The one thing which really was better, is the shortcut. <ALT><SPACE> is much easier to reach for a task which is used more often. I know, I can change it manually. I have done so. But I think this may be useful for other users and give krunner the attention and usefullness it deserves. To keep everyone happy I suggest to have both shortcuts in place. If you, who are reading this report, are using <ALT><F2> then please change it and try it for a while, before putting this one on WONTFIX :-)
You can change the default Alt+F2 by going to System Settings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Global Keyboard Shortcuts -> KDE component: Run Command Interface. I agree that Alt+Space would be more accessible, but it still doesn't (IMHO) justify changing something that everyone has been accustomed for many years now. (not only in KDE)
Putting WONTFIX for now since I see there are no more comments on the subject.
