Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources If you install something from the get hot new stuff dialog, then later decide you want to remove it, you have to find it in the ghns dialog again to do so. This is mostly an issue with wallpapers since there are more of them and they may not even show up in the ghns dialog any longer. Perhaps if the ghns dialog had a "Things I have installed" source or if you could remove them without using the ghns dialog.

@Aaron: I don't think this is really a dup of bug 177083: I filed that bug specifically for Plasma widgets, including Dashboard-, Google-, Whatever-based ones. Those you don't install via GHNS, so Plasma needs an additional removal Feature on top of one needed in GHNS. The latter could be used by other apps using GHNS as well. So I guess this should be reassigned to khotstuff and bug 177083 depend on it (if KDE Bugzilla supported dependencies).
if you wish to open it against GHNS, that's fine by me as it is a weakness of the GHNS dialog. for Plasma, however, i don't want two different recommended mechanisms for removing widgets. we have a unified Plasma::Package system to help avoid that scenario. which is to say i don't want to rely on the GHNS dialog in Plasma for this at all. the user should not need to care where thew widget came from when they feel like deleting one.
Of course you're right about the unified dialog, I just thought there should be a general bug against GHNS on top of the Plasma one. As bug 177083 is already files, this could have been reassign to khotstuff instead. Doesn't matter too much though.
