Version: 4.2.60 (KDE 4.2.60 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090106)) (using 4.2.60 (KDE 4.2.60 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090106)), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-gentoo-r4 Aleph is a web library interface (probably also management system) widely used in Poland. Currently Konqueror isn't able to access any Aleph-driven site---it fails with a "the connection was closed at an unexpected point in the communication" error. Two example aleph-backed sites are: * http://80.53.118.27/F/ * http://agathos.sgh.waw.pl/ALEPH You can try for yourself, that you can't connect to them in Konqueror (although Firefox handles them just fine).
I can confirm this with Konqueror 4.2.0. It works with Konqueror 3.5.10, though. Additional example URLs include: - http://opac.nebis.ch/F?local_base=nebis&con_lng=GER&func=file&file_name=find-b - http://aleph.unibas.ch/F?con_lng=GER&func=find-b-0
