Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-01-11 20:35:00 UTC
Version: Kopete: 0.60.82 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When i try to send an mp3 file using wlm, it shows the open file dialog, then i select the file and an error dialog popups saying that "blabla.mp3 is a file and it sohould be a folder".

Why it shouldn't be a file? I want to send a file so i select a file... what's wrong with that?

I also have the same problem when i want to add an avatar.

Is this bug still happening? I can't reproduce it here.
Is wlm the only protocol that behaves like that?
Comment 3 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-01-30 19:59:57 UTC
It is still there, and it happens also with other protocols. Well in my bugreport i didn't put it in the wlm section, but it was changed.

Also... For the same reason i can't select an avatar. It says i should select a directory.

Can you open the files for instance in dolphin? Is the file on you disk or is it on remote storage?
Comment 5 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-01-30 22:41:36 UTC
I can open it in dolphin and it is on a local filesystem.

I think i got the problem, and i managed to add avatars.

For some weird reason when i open for example "file.png" in the path /tmp/. the dialog box will try to list "/tmp/file.png/" and will show that error.

If i manually type the filename and i press return, without using the mouse, then the file will be opened.

I cannot reproduce this bug, if you see this bug in KDE SC 4.3 or later please reopen.
