Installed from:    Compiled sources

Running with system wide locale set to Ru_RU.UTF-8. I am unable to change default spell checking language from Russian. I enter system configuration, change it (e.g. to English) and it appears to succeed, but language remains Russian. When I enter the same dialogue again, language is again back to Russian.
