"Keep above others" and "Keep below others" are tied together so that if you click one, it deselects the other, but there's no way to go back to "normal", i.e., neither option selected.

KDE3's knotes used checkboxes instead of radio buttons for this feature so that neither option could be selected.  Of course it had checks to ensure that both weren't selected at the same time.

Using r904446 you can deselect those options (which are checkboxes again).
