If you select a range of dates to be printed, and THEN change the format (daily -> weekly -> monthly) then the range of dates is forcibly overwritten. There seems to be no justification for doing this. At a minimum, the user should be prompted "Reset dates to default range?"  Personally, I think that when the user has changed the dates from the defaults, the argument for NOT overwriting the date range at all is stronger, but I realise that's a matter of opinion. I do think that overwriting without prompting is close to a bug, let alone a feature request - but I would hope it's simple enough to pop up a message box before you overwrite them.
