Description Stevan White 2008-12-20 14:35:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When an event is selected in Calendar, the "Copy" menu item is enabled. But what does it do?

I tried clicking a different date in the Calendar, but then "Paste" is disabled (even though I think it's obvious what *should* happen). I tried pasting into a text editor. No luck.

Copy/Paste of Calendar events should work, at least within Calendar and to text.

Within Calendar, paste of an event in another date cell should result in a new event, just like the copied one, but with the start date changed to the selected date. (A Cut/Paste would also be handy, for changing a date.)

The result pasting an event to text should be the textual info of the event: dates, times, places, people, description, etc.

This would make a great application even greater! Thanks!

Copy/Paste works fine in trunk. Should work ok in the 4.1 branch as well.

IOW, this is fixed for the upcoming 4.2 and 4.1.4 releases.
