This kcm module is accesible from the Trashcan plasmoid in Plasma or running "kcmshell4 kcmtrash". Shouldn't this be accessible from Dolphin (and maybe SystemSettings) too ? Or the settings in the "Trashcan Settings" are only applied when you are using the Trashcan plasmoid and they would be useless when you don't have it in your Plasma destop/panel? Thanks :)

I agree, this is why I have just implemented this feature today, although I was not aware of this wish until now. Yeah, I also thought the same, Konqueror uses it, so does that plasma applet, Dolphin should be able to have this functionality on it's own, especially since it uses the trash:/ protocol.
