Description Malte S. Stretz 2008-12-19 00:19:20 UTC
Version: 1.10.92 (using 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-9-generic

I just discovered the View Thread in Browser feature in the message list's context menu. I think it should be removed there, not only because it seems to be a bit broken (see bug 178118) but also because the context menu is quite full already.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a regular menu entry for this feature, a clear violation of any UI guideline.

Oh, I just discovered the Export to HTML... feature in the context menu. Also a rarely-used feature (which overlaps with the View Thread in Browser one I think) which doesn't have a regular menu entry as well. Save Attachments... is missing one as well.

Both Export to HTML... and View Thread in Browser should be removed from the Context menu IMHO.

If you dig around there are a lot more context menu entries without corresponding main menu entries, for example all the Favorite Folder stuff.

The action has now been removed completely.
Comment 4 Malte S. Stretz 2009-01-18 17:36:55 UTC
Are the other missing menu entries fixed as well? If not, I'll open a new bug.

No, only Export to HTML has been removed.
