Description Michal Ziabkowski 2008-12-12 15:42:08 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

With "Show the Desktop folder" enabled, it is impossible to move icons around. They immediately jump back to their previous position. It looks as if sorting was enabled, though it isn't. This happens in containment mode as well.

The same thing happens if you select "Specify a folder" and use desktop:/ as the URL. Purging the config doesn't help.

I'm using KDE 4.1.82. I don't recall the problem existing in 4.1.80.

Can you reproduce this with current trunk? i had that problem a few days ago, but it got fixed in folderview.

This can probably be marked as resolved

Indeed, upgrading folderview to the version from trunk helped. I can rearrange icons again.
