Description Florian Beier 2008-12-10 19:05:25 UTC
Version: 1.10.3 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I use kmail with the gmail smtp.
When I have to enter the smtp password for the first time, the mail is sent and kmail asks if I want to store the password (no kwallet, as it is unavailable).
When I agree to store the password and I try to send a second mail, I get an box that my password is wrong.

This ONLY happens if my password conatins an exclamation mark (!). Without a "!", everything works fine.

Kmail 1.10.3
KDE 4.1.3 Kubuntu

Confirmed in svn trunk revision:r894340 , and it only happens for smtp passwords. They work with imap and dimap.
