Version: 1.98 (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs Amarok is working great ..This is not a big issue but since we are heading for final release.. unfinished things will make it look bad.. So I noticed the follwing about Rating Stars,, 1. When The left navigation bar is "on" through which we access [Collection, Internet, Playlist etc] , the rating starts get strected and amarok fails to display it correctly and few corners hide beneath .. Screenshot : http://www.imgx.org/view/full/27262_nmo5z 2. When the navigation is closed.. Everything work fine Screenshot : http://www.imgx.org/view/full/27263_zol8s Though this isn't a big deal but will certainly make amarok more polished if fixed.. Regards
Wow indeed, I've never noticed this, but you're right. I can clearly see it here on my box too.
Yes, I've seen it and tried to fix it. Afaict, the problem is in the kratingwidget, which does dynamic resizing of the widget and cuts off pixels for odd or even sizes or something weird.
Hmm, this could be related to BUG 175567 Something is wrong with this KRatingPainter.
SVN commit 920054 by markey: In an attempt to fix BR 177003 ("Amarok rating "Stars" appear clipped"), import the latest KratingPainter and KRatingWidget code from SVN trunk into Amarok. However, this doesn't seem to fix the issue. But now the good news: On KDE 4.2 this problem no longer surfaces, it seems. So I'm closing the report. BUG: 177003 M +1 -1 kratingpainter.h M +5 -11 kratingwidget.cpp M +6 -4 kratingwidget.h WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=920054
I'm using kde 4.2.0. and using amarok svn of 20 feb and still see some clipped stars when hovering over a star and rating with half points and half stars. At that moment the right star-point is clipped. It only happends with half stars, not with full.
