Description Dotan Cohen 2008-12-05 00:13:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When copying files, the Move dialog shows time as integers, measured in either minutes or seconds. For instance, it shows that there is "1.75 minutes remaining". Humans would prefer to see that as "1 minute, 45 seconds remaining" or even "105 seconds remaining". Also, when there is less than a minute remaining the dialog shows hundredths of a second, such as "43.51 seconds remaining". Humans do not need this precision, in fact, it is confusing as we are not used to ever seeing that.

Another issue with the current approach is the ambiguity of "1.25 minutes remaining". Some human users may perceive that as "1 minute, 25 seconds remaining".
