Description Oliver Putz 2008-11-29 17:43:23 UTC
Version: 0.60.81 (using 4.1.80 (KDE 4.1.80 (KDE 4.2 Beta1)), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-gentoo-r1

In several places kopete tries to query the jabber server if you use the jabber protocol with a relay server. (e.g. when clicking "modify" on a jabber account like foo@jabber.org/icq.jabber.hot-chilli.net).

During this query the two buttons for dialog coming right after the querying are already available. (Register and close). Clicking on the "register" button during the server lookup does not result in any action whatsoever. So I think that button should only be shown once the querying is done and the next dialog opens (the one where you enter the account information)

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
