Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources On some specific combination when navigating through folders in the open dialog the application crashes. I've using KDE 4.2 Beta 1 from Archlinux KDEMod repositories. Have you experienced this bug again? Can you describe the steps that leads to this crash? (folders you browse, folders you have, file types do you have)? Thanks :)
Hi. Yes, this stills happens. I haven't found a clear pattern to reproduce this, but basically the idea is: 1. I open Kate and select the Open file option. The base folder is: /srv/http/moduloPagos/classes/dao 2. If I go up 2 or more levels up (eg. /srv/http/moduloPagos/) and then click on a folder (any apparently) the application crashes. If I go only one level everything works as expected. Also, if I go up one level and go into a folder, then go back and browse two or more levels the applications does NOT crash anymore. Quite strange really but I can reproduce it. I'm using KDE 4.1.81 (from KDEmod archlinux)
Here: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.82 (KDE 4.1.82 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081204)) KWrite: 4.1.82 (KDE 4.1.82 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081204)) kdelibs svn rev.893007 kdebase svn rev.893019 Even following the steps in comment 2, I can't reproduce the bug. (maybe it was already fixed in SVN)
@Luciano: can you still reproduce this ?
No, I can't reproduce it anymore. :)
Well. marking as WORKSFORME. Please re-open this bug report if you experience the same bug again. Thanks :)
