Description Yves Glodt 2008-11-26 18:17:09 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Using kde 4.1.73 from ubuntu jaunty packages

when adding the Temperature system monitor plasmoid to plasma, ksysguardd starts to appear with +/- 27 wakeups in powertop, even though the polling interval of the applet is set to 2 seconds.

This might be because of the various other sensors that ksysguardd has. It polls for changes in hard disks etc.

Where do you find the temperature monitor? I see a compute load monitor, memory usage monitor, network bandwidth monitor, disk I/O bandwidth monitor, disk space usage monitor, but no temperature monitor. The information is not available in KSysGuard either. lm_sensors 3.6.0 is installed.

Operating System: Fedora 32

I'm afraid these widgets have been deprecated in Plasma 5 and removed in Plasma 6. They have been replaced with the newer System Monitor widgets.
