- confirmation : the occurrence is with any application started after boot up - occurrence is now approx. 1 in 3 boot ups
I do not see any information relating to KWin in this report. Yes you are missing titlebars but it looks to be a general problem with the system and thus is an installation/packaging problem. If no information on how to reproduce are provided as well as a KWin backtrace I will mark this report as DOWNSTREAM.
Oh, looks like you use Compiz, not a KWin problem at all then. As it was also reassigned from the Kontact team there is nowhere to place this bug there closing.
Since the recent updates this bug is now persistent with Kontact, Konquerer and Dolphin. I have meanwhile disabled Compiz and removed all components of it. This bug means I can not efficiently use KDE. Since it is pestering me for months and now only got worse Ihave given up on it and will do a fresh install of 8.04.
