Version:           0.10.0-beta6 (using 4.1.80 (KDE 4.1.80 (KDE 4.2 Beta1)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-tuxonice

the icons on the thumbnails indicate the unknown/downloaded/new items but the "select new items" command selects all files

after closing an reopening the dialog the thumbnail of a already downloaded image changes back to a questionmark although it's already imported

i also get duplicated entries in the Album tree and the files don't show up in the albums.
browsing the album directory with dolphin i see duplicated files with strange temp-naming:

p1060830.jpg.digikam-camera-tmp1-14993

The main problem about File/new action is fixed now.

About Comment #2, please a new report (do not mix, it's infernal to manage)
