Description Frank James 2008-11-23 03:03:18 UTC
Version: 2.1.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-7-generic

I didn't mind so much that I had to set up the interface of KGet again after with went from KDE3.5x to the new KDE4 version, but straight away I noticed you can no longer add a Queue button, and looking deeper realised it basically wasn't an option anymore, since I can't see it available in menus or even context menu. At the moment, I have to Start/Resume downloads to add them to an unseen queue. When I do this, the current download aborts, but if I stop the download that caused this, the previous one pops up again (I have it set up for one download at a time).

Besides the fact that this is a very roundabout way of doing things, there is no way to actually tell if something is queued, visually that is, since all but what is being downloaded are marked as Stopped.

I fully agree.
The older version had much more functionalities.
It appears all statusses are gone.
Either a file is being downloaded or it is stopped whereas previously there was : downloading, stopped, queued, added (not queue), ... .
I also don't like the fact that forcing an extra download stops another one if the download limit has been reached. I'd like to be able to force the limit without the need of changing the number of downloads

This is not a bug but a feature which could be readded after thinking about it how to do it best.
