Description Tristan Miller 2008-11-20 13:36:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

With certain Postscript files, Okular displays the pages in the wrong order. This is because these files contain the "%%PageOrder: descend" marker, which Okular does not appear to recognize. I will attach a sample file exhibiting this behaviour. This file displays correctly with gv and ghostview, but with Okular the order of the pages is reversed.

This problem also occurs in kghostview; see Bug 69427.

This file displays properly in gv and ghostview, but not with Okular.

Okular uses a 3rd party library for PS files, called libspectre.

Please report the problem to the libspectre developers, https://bugs.freedesktop.org "libspectre" product.

Thanks for understanding.

According to the freedesktop.org bugzilla, the upstream bug has been fixed in libspectre 0.2.1.
