Description Bartemius Crouch 2008-11-20 02:41:00 UTC
Version: 2.1.3 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It happened after changing and saving the settings of KGet while downloading some files. It has happened more than once.

I am having a similar issue. kget looses a freshly updated download list when it crashes, it is killed, or X crashes.

If one was to add a download, quit kget and then start it again, the download is present. If kget is then killed/crashes or X crashes the download is present and resumes normally.

It seems that kget is simply not saving the contents of the download list until exit.

To reproduce: Open kget, Add download, `pkill kget`, start kget

I am on Fedora 10, KDE 4.1.2, kget 2.1.2 (but if I remember correctly, this issue has existed since KDE 4.0)

In KDE 4.2 we are saving the Download-List every Transfer-Add and -Remove...
