I work on my laptop using Kubuntu 8.10, KDE 4.1.3.

I check for updates (via terminal using apt-get upgrade command) and try to apply them, but my batterie have low charge. So the system go to hibernate mode. 

Ater plug-in the AC cable and restart the system, the desktop show on the screen and the updates appear to be OK. But only for a few seconds, the terminal close and only appear the window of the crash.
