Version: 1.10.3 (using KDE 4.1.3) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages this is a regression from kde-3.x ... in kde-4.1.x, the composer window will always have this green bar that says "Message will be signed". personally, i find this a bit useless seeing as how i'm the one that enabled "automatically sign messages". plus, this status information can already be found by adding a "Sign Message" button to the toolbar. so rather than having a dedicated dead space area which merely states "Message will be signed", it should be moved down to the already existing status bar that appears at the bottom of the composer window (and shows things like cursor position). after all, that thing has plenty of dead space in it already.
Sounds reasonable....

this part of kmail hasn't changed, so the bug is still relevant
