Version: 3.1.1 (using KDE 3.5.9) Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.1.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages scrolling and viewing 1000s of raw files in kpa can be painfully slow especially if thumbnails are set large. I would be happy to generate jpeg copies for speedy viewing and sorting, but experimenting with enabling "Don't read RAW files if matching JPEG/TIFF file exists" leaves me unable (?) to easily access the raw files. I propose a 'sub preference' checkbox under the "Don't read RAW..." entry so that matching raw files would be included in the 'export' and 'drag&drop' sets when they are created. in other words, I want kpa to fast-display my jpegs and then I extract a set of raw files (don't mind if jpegs come too) to work on outside of kpa.
Henner is this something that might be solved using stacks?
