Version: 1.3 (using KDE 4.1.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages If I removed (or rename) categories, this is newly showed after closing/reopen the PIM, the category renamed are showed correctly, but is showed also the original category.
Cannot reproduce using current trunk. Could you tell exactly the steps to reproduce it? thanks!
Yes: Open Kontact Select a Calendar appointment, or contact, or To Do, and modify it click on the select button of category Select modify category Try to remove (or rename) a category, ie: Goals/obectives After modify it, click on Apply and on Ok button Exit from Kontact Reopen the software and go to the item previously modificated in the category selector, the category renamed or modified is still visible

Confirmed following steps on comment #2 (but I've had to assign the category to the event before renaming).
