Version: (using KDE 4.1.2) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package I noticed this pretty "ugly" bug: Everytime you try to perform a drag and drop operation, your cursor is changed from the current design, to the KDE Klassik design (black cursor). This occurs on all KDE applications and generalyy speaking, on all Qt based applications. GTK apps, are not affected by this bug. So this might even be a Qt bug. The only thing I wonder is, didn't anyone else noticed this behaviour, or is it just on my system?
I forgot: I use KDE 4.1.2 on Linux
It's not only on your system, mine changes the cursor too. I didn't notice that until this bug :D
I see this in dolphin. r881723
I can confirm this too, it seems to occur on all kinds of drag and drop operations (in Dolphin as well as when dragging text in Katepart, but not in GTK apps like Firefox). It only affects the cursor while you would be able to drop the item, the "cannot drop"-cursor is shown correctly.
Have anyone experienced this bug using a recent KDE version? 4.2beta1/beta2 or 4.2svn ? Thanks :)
I still experience this issue on kde trunk (~ 2 days old)

Still valid on 4.3trunk + Qt4.5
I can confirm the same behavior using 4.2.1 with qt 4.5. I can also confirm the bug is there still at least 4.1...

I confirm that in kde 4.2.3 as well as 4.2.87 using qt 4.5.1

I found that it's propably qt bug. When I dragging pictures or text from opera window the cursor temporarily changes when it's above text field in adressbar, tabbar, kde taskbar, trash plasmoid or quick access plasmoid. So the cursor changes tonly is above the place where user can drop an object. I'm using opera 10 beta 1 with qt 4.2.2 statically compiled. Note that the same is when using dolphin and dragging files. When the cursor is above the kmenu button, devicenotifier or pager applet it reverts to oxygen cursor, but with 'forbidden' sign.
I can confirm it on KDE 4.3 beta2. ps.: For me it was always like this, even from the KDE 3 era.
