Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources When talking to people with a @gmail.com address using Kopete and its Jabber protocol implementation, I'm getting an animated "loading" (i.e: rotating wheel) icon next to any message I send, and it won't disappear. It keeps being animated next to any message I have sent, even a long time after it was sent to the other side. I'm using the Kopete of KDE 4.1.70 on Mandriva Linux Cooker on an x86 computer.
Do you know what IM program are they using? Anyway I'll add an option to disable sending state for any contact in jabber.

I've sent a patch to Kopete mailing list which allows you to disable the sending notification. http://lists.kde.org/?l=kopete-devel&m=122505817118988&w=2
This has been committed to subversion, so i'm marking as fixed.
It looks like this bug is back. I'm using 4.11.5 and the patch listed isn't in the current code either. I haven't looked at applying the patch to the current version of Kopete yet.
