Hi, and thanks for the bugreport. From the description it sounds as if you are able to reproduce the bug. If so: Could you please post the exact steps you take in order to crash the program? And could you have a look at http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports, install the debugging packages for your distribution and post a more complete backtrace? A more complete backtrace makes it easier for developers to fix the problem.
Comment 2 Thomas Baumgart 2008-10-26 09:20:30 UTC
I know why it is crashing (trying to extract information about an a account from a transaction when the account does not exist (anymore) ) so there's no need to get more information from the backtrace as requested in the previous post to this bug in this case.

The problem is, that we don't know which version of KMyMoney you are using. Please provide additional information about the KMyMoney version.
Comment 3 Thomas Baumgart 2008-10-26 18:53:10 UTC
Dan reported in a private mail that it is version 08.

Please update to at least 0.8.9 and see if the problem persists.
Comment 4 Thomas Baumgart 2009-01-08 12:54:54 UTC
Can you update CVS HEAD (alternatively 0.9.2) and see if the problem persists?
