Description Dexter Magnific 2008-10-24 11:36:09 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-gentoo-r1

Hi everybody,

There seems that since KDE4 the 'open file' dialog is missing one very important feature KDE3 had. The 'separate folders' option.
This option is very useful since it adds more readability to the dialog.
Please can you restore it ?
Thanks

This kind of can be achieved ordering by type. You will get folders first.
Other file types will be reordered though.

Jordi, the reporter is talking about two separate views for directories and files, this was possible in KDE 3.
