Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27

Kopete doesn't changes the avatar.
i click on the avatar box in the contact list, or from the msn settings, i select "add avatar", i browse a local file, and it doesn't adds the avatar.
I ran kopete from a terminal and it says:

QPainter::begin: Cannot paint on a null pixmap
QPainter::end: Painter not active, aborted

This feature works perfectly for me under Kopete 0.80.2 (KDE SC 4.3.4).

Do you still encounter the bug with the latest version? If yes could you provide more information please? It could be related to the type of picture or the size etc...
