Hello, 

currently I'm testing SuSE 11.1 Beta2 on thinclients. 

The thinclient does not support GLX/OpenGL most likely 
this is the cause of the problem. 

I will attach a screenshot of this bug, 
but its very similar to the bug: 

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68878 

(reported 2003 ?) 

I dont have the artefacts when using a thinclient (remote X11) 
which supports GLX.

PS: maybe its reproducible with a remote machine 
w/o GLX/opengl and

 X :1 -query <kde4host>

Looks almost identical to what is produced in the decoration preview widget on all machines. Could be related.

I can confirm that the bug is not in kwin/windowbar  when I use a thinclient
with GLX/OpenGL support.
(At least the bug has not yet shown up)

But it still is in the decoration preview.

Hello,

I got the same Problem with Debian/Lenny on AMD64 with KDE-4.21 Packages from 
debian-desktop.org.

Problem only appears with NX, with Xming the Problem does not appear.

Im still on SuSE 11.1 with KDE 4.1 <something> but the problem has
disappered.
(The decoration still flikers when changing the focus) but that was 
another bug report, so this problem is solved.
