Description Jonathan Graham Doe 2008-10-19 23:40:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Protocol: webdavs
Server: mediacenter.gmx.net
Calender type: ics
Login data: managed via kwalletmanager

On KOrganizer (or "Kalender" as I use the German locale) I have the following problem with a remote calendar via webdavs:

1) The calender loads normally.

2) When trying to save (automatically or manually does not matter), an error message pops up reporting "Verbindung zu Rechner mediacenter.gmx.net ist unterbrochen." (meaning: "Connection to mediacenter.gmx.net lost.") The calendar is NOT saved.

3) However, if at the same time there is an open konqueror connection to the webdavs resource, the error does /not/ occur and the calendar saves perfectly.

Hope, that helps.

Can you retest with KDE-4.2?

Thanks

caldav should be operational in new KOrganizer versions.
will resolve this, especially since we heard nothing back from the OP in over 3 years.
