When users install KDE, please include the GTK-Qt Theme Engine along with KDE. It is very useful: it lets users customize their GTK fonts, and it lets them use their chosen Qt fonts in GTK apps.
I think this wish should go to your favorite distribution not kde project.
But I have more than one favorite distro. Why do you suggest I file this bug with them instead? :)
@ comment #2 Because it is their job ! They decide which package should be included in their distribution not kde team.
Could you include it as part of http://extragear.kde.org/ ? You, not distro maintainers, are the people who decide what gets into Extragear. :)
Ok, I will e-mail the maintainers of GTK-Qt Theme Engine if he want to include his package in the extragear or not.
cc: David Sansome, gtk-qt-engine maintainer Actually, David, could you please ask gtk-devel-list[1] if they will accept gtk-qt-engine? They already have an ms-windows engine, I don't see why they wouldn't accept another engine if it works well. If they don't accept it, then please submit it to extragear. ^ [1]. http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-devel-list
- Any news about this ? Thanks
What to ship is a packaging decision made by distros, not us.
