Description Zayed Al-Saidi 2008-10-18 22:24:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The marquee tag can not render the Arabic letters (they are not shaped correctly). All letters in Arabic word should be connected together but marquee tag breaks that.

I attached a testcase. Just run it with firefox and see how it renders the Arabic words.

I can confirm this issue in KDE 4.3 beta 2. Attached is a screenshot showing how Konqueror and Firefox render the marque text.
