Description John Langley 2008-10-18 01:20:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux

I change powersave setting, but they are not retained. After re-opening the defaults are back. Also, suspend to disk, or RAM doesn't work. Worked in Mandriva 2008 however..

I could use some more details about that...
Comment 3 John Langley 2009-01-11 23:46:03 UTC
I change the power settings, but when I reboot those changes are lost.

I dont know if it's related, but i've tried changing everything to 'power management' so that my powerdevil never stop my screens, but never managed to.

This was not the case in kde 4.3 i think, using 4.4 here.

I'm not speaking about the screensaver that can _not_ be prevented to start, this is another (very long standing) kde 4 bug.

The option mentioned in this bug has been removed from HAL, marking as invalid
