Version:           3.1.3 (using KDE 4.1.2)
Compiler:          cmake 2.6 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

If i run ktorrent from the kmenu everything is ok
However when i use runner to start ktorrent i get this message
"KDEinit could not initialize /usr/bin/ktorrent"

However ktorrent starts up correctly and everything is fine...
I get this kind of message also when i just right click and select Open With->ktorrent but as before it starts up normally without any problem.

Seems that some other people are experiencing it at least in Gentoo IRC channel that i asked.

This is a KDE libs problem (I think), KTorrent uses KUniqueApplication which results in a fork at startup, I'm guessing this is probably confusing kdeinit.

The desktop file for ktorrent was wrong (missing the DBUS name used by ktorrent); this was fixed a few days ago.
