You can find this when you want to change the icons for a applications of folders. One way to do that is to Open Dolphin>right-click any folder>Properties>click the icon.
The icons for Application and Emotes categories are cut off badly. Some of the icons in the "Applications" are cut off on the sides, while icons on "Emotes" are cut off on the bottoms. Some fonts (ex. apport, browser, aim) are cut off in the middle make it barely readable.
Overall there is no consistency in the maximum characters shown for the icons fonts. Sometimes they are shown fully like "favourites", "user-thrash" or "start-here" in Places category, but in the Applications category the maximum fonts shown are only 3 or 4 so that amarok are cut to just ama......
