Description BeteNoire 2008-10-12 10:19:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Compiler: GCC 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

KDE session locked manually or by screensaver won't unlock but hangs, when typed password and pressed Enter. Unlock dialog just... hangs - unable to press any of the buttons.
I can move mouse, I am able to switch to vt alt+Fx or to kill X with ctrl+alt+bspace, but it's not what I want.
Any chance or clue to fix it?

I can confirm as this happens on three of my computers I've migrated to KDE4.

Moved to krunner (the locking controlling app is there)

Bug resolved as it was distro-specific. Gentoo didn't install all needed dependencies properly. Missing package was kde-base/kcheckpass.
