Description Dotan Cohen 2008-10-12 02:47:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Depending on what I am doing, from where I am copying information, I might find it easaier to work with the month names or the number numbers (1-12). I propose a new month format that includes both. For instance:
January(1)
February(2)
...

This would appear in all places where the month is either displayed or selectable in KDE, such as in Kontact. For places where the long date format is displayed, the month configuration MONTH(MM) works nicely.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
