Description Tomas Van Verrewegen 2008-10-10 21:30:16 UTC
Version: 0.60.2 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-4-generic

When I send a file over MSN protocol to another user, the transfer dialog is not opened, in the chat window no message is written that I'm trying to send a file, so there is no way of knowing what is happening...
When the remote user accepts the transfer (but not before) the progress dialog opens and the transfer succeeds, the file is completely transferred and a message is written in the chat window as it should be (File transfer /home/tomas/Nongkhai.jpg completed.)

We've completely replaced the current MSN implementation with a new MSN
implementation. If you continue to experience this bug after testing the
new implementation (which can be gotten from our subversion repository or with
the KDE 4.2 Beta 1 release), PLEASE, open a new bug rather than reopening this
bug. Thank you for your time and efforting in helping us find and fix problems
in Kopete.
