Description Vito De Tullio 2008-10-09 11:50:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I'm using my personal laptop at work and at home, and, I like to listen music everytime I can :)

I use kmix in the panel (not the plugin!) to check-uncheck the mute and the volume, and to switch the "master channel" (the one I can control directly from the panel) from the internal speakers (at home) and the earphones (at work).

For me it works, but it's just a bit frustating: when I come at work, I must mute the current master (the front speakers), right-click the kmix icon -> select master channel -> switch to earphones, then begin to work, then back again to "front" when at home.

It will be cool, for me, to allow the kmix to have 2 (or more...) different icons on the panel, one to each channel I want (in my dream, the "select current master" window will contain a checkbox list, not a combobox) then I can easyly check the volumes (in my case, I just want 2 channels, but maybe someone else shoud prefer 3 or more)
