Version: unknown (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-21-generic I have kde 4.1.1 packages on hardy 8.04 and upgraded to kde 4.1.2 via: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu/ hardy main Now the problem is previously this is how the shortcuts used to operate: Ctrl+1 = Summary in kontact Ctrl+2 = Mail in kontact Ctrl+3 = Address book in kontact Ctrl+4 = Calendar in kontact etc Since the update this is how the shortcuts now operate: Ctrl+1 = Time tracker in kontact Ctrl+2 = Popup notes in kontact Ctrl+3 = Notebooks in kontact Ctrl+4 = Journal in kontact etc Moreover this problem is serious because I try change the shortcuts in kontact back the way it was(the correct way) and it works however once I exit kontact and re-enter it, the shortcuts reset back to the faulty way post-update :( Seems like somehow the order was reversed (last item = 1 etc.).
Yes, I also notice this with Kontact in openSUSE 11.0. I'm using KDE 4.1.2 as well. I don't think it's too hard to fix anyway... Xtreme Kommander
In addition to the changed default shortcuts, I can also confirm the second problem, namely the shortcuts not being remembered when one changes them.
This has been resolved in later releases.
