Version: (using KDE 4.1.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Non-global keyboard shortcuts should not be displayed in menus attached to system tray icons. If they're not global, there's no way to trigger them. They're just a waste of horizontal screen space and mind-clutter. This can bee seen in the Quit menu-items in the following system tray icons: KNetworkManager 0.2.2 KMix 4.1.2 Amarok 1.4.1.9 Klipper 0.9.7 avoids this with an open-coded Quit action. It's worst in Amarok, because it has default global shortcuts for some of the menu items. So you have a list with keyboard shortcuts, and you can use most of them - but not the last one.
I think product plasma fit's that bug more.
this is in KSystemTrayIcon, not plasma.
