Description Aldoo 2008-10-04 11:34:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

In kopete, when you want to join a jabber chat room, you are presented a dialog asking for the room name, the server and your nickname.
At the bottom of the dialog, there are also two buttons: "navigate" and "join" (not sure about the translation).

So when I see this window I want to fill the different fields with my keyboard, pressing "tab" between each of them, and pressing "enter" in the end for finally joining the chat room I chose.
Unfortunately, pressing "enter" when in a text field will do as if I clicked on the "navigate" button and get me where I don't want to.

For better usability, could not "join" be made the default action, at least if the chat room name is not empty ?

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
