Version: beta1 (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources I will attach a screenshot displaying the problem stupid bug tracker wants me to say more when a picture is worth 1000 words.
Created attachment 27630 [details] pic of bug
Please explain what you did to get this.
all I have to do is switch back and forth from things like the collection browser to the playlist 'tab' in this case I just added a proportional bias
Created attachment 27635 [details] even better pic of bug all I did here was go to the collection browser then switch to playlist.
The second screenshots illustrates pretty well what is happenening here: The content of the Playlists browser is painted over the previous content of the Collection browser, overlapping it. I have to say I've never seen this before, and I doubt that this is an Amarok bug. I would rather suspect a problem with your graphics driver and/or Qt library. Have you seen similar issues with other KDE 4 applications?
no I haven't. aside from more frequent crashes and instability in this pre-4.2 snapshot I haven't had any rendering issues in any other apps.
So, what to do with this report? I'd rather close it, since (as pointed out above) I doubt it's an Amarok issue. And since noone can reproduce it, it won't help much to keep it open. Don't take it personally - I'm sure sooner or later this issue will resolve itself.
