Description greg 2008-09-28 14:02:38 UTC
Version: kde 3.5.8 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Compiler: out of the box (mepis)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

whenever you login as user the desktop appears without the toolbar and its icons. without the start menu i can find no way to get to check the settings other than desktop preferences which does not list toolbar as an option to adjust. oddly, as i type this i ran my cursor over the bottom of the screen and the toolbar is now there. however, i left the desktop sit all night before this happened. the prior 5 or 6 login attempts the toolbar never appeared. I am running Mepis straight from the box
